How Stanford EM Partnership Program Works

The STEPP evaluation process involves multiple stages, meticulously designed to ensure alignment and suitability for potential collaboration with health tech startups.

1. Begin Collaboration
Take the initial step towards collaboration by completing our online interest form. This form allows us to grasp the essence of your innovation and assess its potential fit within our EM Partnership program.
2. Screening Meeting
You’ll receive an email within two weeks to set up a screening meeting with one of our physician innovators.
3. Expert Evaluation
If there appears to be a fit you’ll meet with subject matter experts from our department to evaluate your technology and solidify the goals of the partnership.
4. Partnership Development
Work with our team to outline the scope of work in the partnership.
5. Team Formation
We identify faculty to staff a project team to work closely with you throughout the partnership.
